11 April 2025 | Clinical Services Launch with First Successful List

Southern Charity Hospital marked a significant milestone on 11 April with the successful completion of its first clinical list. The day began with a briefing held at the Community Lounge, completed ahead of schedule, setting the tone for an efficient and well-coordinated session.

The team delivered timely, high quality care for patients, some of who had been waiting for years through the HNZ system. Clear communication and strong teamwork were evident throughout the day. Procedures Delivered

A number of flexible colonoscopies were performed, along with biopsies and haemorrhoid banding as required. All patients had completed their preadmission assessments and were well-informed throughout the day.

Patient Feedback

Patients expressed gratitude for the professionalism and kindness shown by the team. Feedback highlighted clear communication, supportive care, and overall positive experiences. Some patients are now being referred for further care through HNZ.

Moving Forward

The success of this first list sets a strong foundation for future clinics. The team is reviewing feedback and refining workflows to support continuous improvement. “This is a proud moment for Southern Charity Hospital. Our team delivered excellent care and made a real impact in our community.” — Andrew, Clinical Nurse Manager The first clinical list not only marked a beginning—it reinforced Charity Hospital’s mission to restore access, dignity, and care for patients!

Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. Thank you for your continued support!
